Time Warp - 2003

I was googling myself (like any normal ego maniac does on a Friday) and was pleasantly surprised to find one of my earliest published work still in existence. Hee.  Almost a decade ago, I joined the Philippine Star My Favorite Movie contest, here's the article for those of you remotely interested.

I did a piece about one of my favorite films of all time by one of my fave directors, Oscar winner Danny Boyle.

Yay! Silly blogger is always happy whenever random pictures or articles about/from her gets featured on a newspaper.  This was from last Saturday's edition of Phil Star.  And yes, it's going straight to my feeling-celebrity clearbook clippings - future little fiances and little Jakers after all needs to see what their silly mom was doing back then.

As promised, here are the behind the scenes look from our photo shoot with Adidas. It's for their 2009 UAAP collection. Here in the Philippines, college basketball is probably the only sports that gets huge ratings when telecast. Adidas has wisely marketed their brand by tapping the two fiercest rivalries in the sports, De La Salle University vs. Ateneo De Manila University.

Of course, we all know who wins right? Animo! Hehe

Almost Famous

For the wannabe retiree in me, the thrill of getting featured in the papers or magazines never gets old. However for the nth time event organizers cannot seem to find the link between a man's name and my oh so angelic face. (cheers!) Who the hell is LAKE CUA?
