Food tripping in Tagaytay (part 100 hee)

After promising to the high heavens that I shall stay strong with pending diet plans, what did me and my Hubby did yet again last Thursday?  Well, pig out of course!  The stain of our Cebu gluttony has not even been removed and yet here we are eating our way to another added not to mention dreaded 4 pounds.  Tsk tsk tsk.  I'm so afraid that I am seriously considering banning stepping on the weighing scale for now.  I promise to get back on track with the Nestle Fitnesse 14 Day Challenge after this! Promise!!

I have been to Sonya's Garden before but never with the Hubby, so it was kinda fun to have a veggie-inspired meal with him there for the first time, better still if it sans the mosquito bites. (Be sure to splatter on those repellants before going in, my legs became a buffet station for those pesky insects)

I have tons and tons of food issues so for the most part I just got the lettuce, eggs, and salad dressing.  No nuts, no anchovies, no liver spread, no jack fruit, just no to any other fruits and legumes.  But I still thoroughly enjoyed lunch.  Loved the salad, loved the pasta with salmon in red or cream sauce.

What's even more to love about Sonya's Garden is the fact that you are 100% positive everything you're eating is 100% fresh.  Everything served, is grown right there at Sonya's Garden's grounds.

We stayed at Hubby's parent's place in Tagaytay that night.  Too bad, would have wanted to try out the bed and breakfast inn of Sonya's.

Love the fact that you get to truly chill afterwards with a very relaxing massage at their spa.  It's very affordable too!  At Php 650.00 for an hour of Swedish/Siatzu massage, how can you possibly go wrong?   And if you have kids, they even have a children's spa area. How cool is that, right?

I finally got to wear my sun dress.  I was trying to channel Bree Van De Camp from Desperate Housewives.
